Dear AYSO Soccer Families,

 

Welcome to AYSO Region16 North Torrance soccer season! We’re thrilled to have your child join us on the field, and we’re excited to have you as part of our team community.

Whether you’re returning for another season or joining us for the first time, we’re looking

Forward to a fun, rewarding and growth-filled experience together.

Our goal this season is to help each player develop their skills, build confidence, and learn the value of teamwork all while having a great time. We believe that soccer is more than just a game: It’s an opportunity to create lasting friendships, learn life lessons and celebrate effort and progress.

This organization is 100% volunteers including Board members referee’s coaches and team parents.

Here is what to expect in the upcoming season.

Practice & Game schedule.

You will receive a full season schedule shortly with dates and times and field locations for your son and daughter from the coach or it will be posted on our website.

Always remember your child age group (u6 u7 u8) and team number in order to find the correct team schedule.

Uniform and Gear: Your assigned coach for your child will distribute your full uniform kit

It consists of Game Jersey, shorts and a pair of socks. You will provide sheen guards and a soccer ball.

Communication: We will use email to keep everyone informed. Please make sure you receive emails from AYSO.  Once your kid gets assigned to a team. The coach and team manager will take over with each individual team needs.

Parent involvement: From cheering on the sidelines to helping with snacks, Your support

It makes a huge difference. Please volunteer for your team, there are several positions for each team. Such as team parent or team manager, assistant coach, field painting referee.
